Mossam Platform Bed

"A good place to start....."

This is the one that started it all!  Made out of wood from 1880's whiskey distillery that was the scene of a federal raid during prohibition which left it abandoned for almost a century, this bed defies the term era.  Incorporating sleek lines and industrial engineering, this bed levitates off the ground and gives a sense of suspended movement - creating the perfect atmosphere for a long night of dreaming.  This bed works amazingly in any size room (even tiny ones!) as the frame is built in such a way that light passes from side to side underneath it to create a negative space which makes the room feel much larger and connected (and clean I might add!).

What about the side rails?

We love the side rails as the come standard and feel that they compliment the feeling of a floating sleepship, HOWEVER - we have lots of clients who have taken advantage of the fact that each is custom made to order.  This allows us to taper the sides in towards the bed any length, some even go for bringing them in all the way to the side of the mattress to save some space in there room.  The design is not dependent on the sides remaining at any given width - it looks like it is floating either way.

Finish:

Handbrushed raw wood with symmetrically oxidized finishing. MATTE Steel Sealant.

Care:
Clean with a duster. For deeper cleaning use a horse hair brush.
